We work hard to bring you the most effective and efficient
descaling services in the Chesapeake Bay area.
Our services include:
- Fresh or Salt water cooled
Our Process - Typical Raw Water Flush
Our process is not intrusive to your system and requires no more down time than it takes to perform the process, typically a day.
As you'll note above, all of your cooling system components are descaled, versus the typical process of disassembling one component.
First, we close of the water intake at the seacock and connect our system to the supply hose in front of the raw water pump. We remove the impeller and zincs in each component. To create a closed loop, we remove the raw water output to the exhaust riser, connecting our system to the output hose.
We will then back flush the system, looking for any excessive debris, such as impeller pieces, etc., insuring also that there are no leaks in the loop before proceeding to add our Rydlyme Marine Descaling solution.
The flushing process is then started and monitored for two to four hours depending upon the suspected level of descaling and initial symptoms requiring our services.
Once complete, the system is thoroughly rinsed. We replace all zincs (Customer Provided), a new impeller/gasket if provided and reconnect all hoses returning them and the seacock to the original state we found them in.
A week or so after completing our service, we follow up with the customer to insure their satisfaction.
Please note that we offer package discounts for multi-engines, and/or single engine service combined with generator and/or air conditioning systems. Many
gasoline engines will be discounted in consideration of lesser coolant system volume.
