DISCLAIMER
We give no warranty, expressed or implied, guaranteeing resolution of heating problems as they may be the result of variables beyond our control.  (Intake, Risers, Fresh water pump, etc.)

Occasionally some systems may have heat exchangers with localized deep corrosion pits of developed pinholes, with only a scab of rust preventing the system water from leaking. Some severely corroded heat exchangers may begin to leak after they have been descaled. This can be a result of the rust that was clogging-up the 'micro' corrosion holes being removed during the flushing process, exposing the pre-existing condition.

The advanced stage of corrosion required for such a situation means that the leak would occur imminently even without the flushing process indicating the heat exchanger is near the end of its life.

These are potential risks of which you should be aware.  Should such a situation arise, Chesapeake Marine Descaling Service will not be held liable.  You would be responsible for any associated repair costs, as such events are outside of our control.

We do require your signed acceptance of this disclaimer to proceed.

Unlike the alternative acid cleaning, the potential for a secondary issue is quite minimal.  We, and other service providers using the Rydlyme Descaling solution have not experienced any component failures as a result of the process.
Rydlyme Marine is non-corrosive to virtually all metallurgies and material commonly found within water based equipment or systems.   With the use of acid, you will eventually need to replace your equipment. Rydlyme Marine will effectively remove the calcium and rust deposits without harming your equipment.
We're publishing this disclaimer up front, but is not out of the ordinary as any radiator repair or comparable shop requires the same whether explicitly stated or implied.  If you have any concerns regarding our policy, please contact us so that we can discuss..
